MUSICAL CAREER

Decades of Performance Experience

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Richard followed his passion for music to Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, before continuing his technical training through the United States Navy.

During his musical career, Richard had the opportunity to open for well-known entertainers including Wolfman Jack, The Drifters, The Floaters, The J. Geils Band, Peter Frampton and David Allan Coe.

He now continues to work part-time as a musician and entertainer while exploring new professional opportunities.

MILITARY SERVICE

Twenty Years in the U.S. Navy

Richard proudly served 20 years in the United States Navy. Twelve of those years were spent as a musician in Navy Bands, where performance, preparation and teamwork were essential.

He also served eight years as an aviation maintenance technician, adding a second professional discipline built on precision, technical knowledge and responsibility.

His military background continues to influence the dependable, professional approach he brings to performances and community activities.

Richard joined the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America in 1995 while living in Key West, Florida, and has remained active in the Italian-American community.

Although he speaks only a little Italian, his appreciation for the culture runs deep and his family has roots in Italy.

His continued participation reflects his enjoyment of friendship, community and shared cultural traditions.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

From Washington, D.C. to Florida

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Richard has been living in Florida for the past three years.

His education and career have taken him from Marshall University to Navy technical school, military assignments, professional music and aviation maintenance.

In his free time, Richard enjoys socializing with friends and taking part in music and entertainment-related activities.
