Although Jennifer was born in Brooklyn, New York, she spent most of her life on Staten Island — or, as Staten Islanders correctly say, “on” Staten Island.

She attended New York City public schools and the College of Staten Island. Staten Island was also where she met and married her husband and where they began raising their two children.

Jennifer was shaped by a neighborhood that was predominantly of Italian descent and deeply proud to be American. That combination of Italian heritage, family and American pride remains an important part of her personal story.

Approximately 15 years ago, Jennifer and her family made Saint Johns and Jacksonville their new home. They are now equally proud to say they are from Jacksonville as they are to say they are from Staten Island.
